One begins to change the world by changing oneself; then we find ourselves in various levels of community and group settings where our boundaries and our ideas are challenged. Through the lens of self awareness, we will explore the valuing of diversity, resistance, effective and openhearted group process, and, respectful structures and roles in community.
During this experiential workshop focused on balance for meeting the needs of body, mind, heart and spirit, you will discover:
Embracing your authentic Self while opening to and valuing diversity
Appreciation for the value of resistance and facilitated process in groups and community
Skills in defining useful structures and roles for effective communication and effort in groups

On the path to Leadership or even in our own personal development, we often encounter challenges in our participation with and open heartedness towards Community: what does it mean to be Self Aware and our Authentic Selves while also valuing diversity and dealing with resistance? How can resistance and group process be understood and optimally managed for the good of the greater community? We will explore these questions and the structure and roles within groups in order to establish more understanding and effectiveness of a community.
Each part is offered as a 3 day retreat style workshop. Workshops are limited to 12 participants. The format is mostly experiential with some lecture style information sharing and individual and group exercises and activities. There is balance for body, mind, heart and spirit.
